A team of Friends of the Farm volunteers works among the beautiful and fragrant roses in the Rose Garden, while another team is involved in the creation of the new Explorer Rose Garden.

There is much that volunteers can learn from the leaders of these teams, both of whom are rose authorities. Volunteers on the Explorer Rose team are learning by instruction and hands-on demonstration how to grow these roses to maturity. Volunteers in the Rose Garden can learn everything from pruning to winter protection about the care and maintenance of a wide selection of roses.
